What Makes the PCI Program World Class?
- We're Cutting Edge
The PCI curriculum is based on the most current research in change processes and parent education. The coaching model developed by Gloria DeGaetano is a complete system that productively addresses the whole parent and the whole child in today's current culture with its unique parenting challenges. The PCI coaching model has been researched to be highly effective, transforming the lives of families in practical and inspiring ways. - We're Innovators in Distance-Learning
Combining home study materials, with regular phone classes, and four on-site workshops, the PCI training program is uniquely designed to be a personable distance-learning program. Most of the workshops are held in the Pacific Northwest. Ocassionally we offer them in other parts of the country, as well. If you are unable to attend a workshop for any reason, we offer an alternative way to get the content. Each workshop is uniquely designed to deepen your learning and provide important role-playing opportunities. - We're Serious
Our PCI curriculum meets the standards of a 5000-graduate level program.

Developed by Gloria DeGaetano over an intense three-year period, the PCI curriculum is intentionally designed to amplify a cutting edge learning experience for each student. As a PCI student, you can be assured that the curriculum is fresh, new and synthesized in a constructive and practical way—providing you with all necessary tools to become the best parent coach you can be. - We're More Than a Training Program
The PCI is also a dynamic institute that delights in supporting our heart-centered professionals in taking their creative expression out into the world. During the training year the PCI acts as a "container" to hold our students while they expand their creative potential. Upon graduation, the PCI acts as a "well" that they can dip into as often as they like for networking and on-going education opportunities. - We Support Parents of At-Risk Children and Youth
A special part of your training program is your supervised Practicum where you provide 100 parent coaching hours to parents in need for the last phase of your training program. The PCI helps you identify these moms and dads, providing the tools to help reduce parental stress and positively address specific parenting challenges with our innovative and pro-active coaching model.
